leak under floor

    i thought it had been fixed by the plumber but alas no!
    any handy methods of detecting where it is without lifting the whole floor?
    i do have a rough idea where it is but...

    Air Compressor, leak should be heard by a load hiss.

    What sort of piping?
    Central heating, hot water,mains, waste?

    It is probably a joint.

    It could be anything ,could be a pipe rotten because it's resting against a cable.
