Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Greetings from the dark ages. I have an old portable Powerpoint tv in a bedroom. I had it tuned to receive NTL cable tv. Someone has untuned it and I am left with 3 channels tuned in. How can I retune it? (the culprit has left the house...) The remote is a universal one and I can't find any tuning menu. I reprogrammed a remote with a 'menu' button but this only gave me access to a brightness/contrast menu.

Can you describe the TV? Some early Powerpoint TV's were a sort of Grundig TV, while later ones were Philips. The most recent were something out of China.

If the Powerpoint you have is the older Grundig type, then there were 4 front buttons plus power button. The 4 buttons were Vol +/- and Channel +/-

If it was the Philips, it had 3 buttons, and the middle one cycled through volume, colour, brightness, etc. and it had a curious round power button.

As the TV is approx 10 years old, it's not the China-made one.
