Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

help with flashing command window when calling batch file

    Hi all,
I am using the schtask sceduler to call a batch script every minute to update a folder over FTP. This works perfectly except for one thing, when called, the batch script opens the command window and can be seen on screen for a second or two. I don't want this to happen due to a program running which is sending its output to another screen.

So is there anyway to prevent the command prompt from been shown when the batch file is called?

    Thanks

You can redirect the output, which should do it.

That is, the command is probably something like "dostuff.bat". Change the command to "dostuff.bat > logfile.log".

That should do the trick I think.
