Hi, I've got a USB microphone that I need to record some voice demos on - not singing - just voice. I need some decent software to run it properly, and am wondering can anyone here suggest a handy program for doing this and where it can be downloaded, preferably free software as I don't exactly think I need high end…

I just want to make a number of voice recordings and burn them on to a demo disc to give someone.

I record stuff using Audacity and highly recommend it.
