Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Someone may be able to help me. I have 2 very large apple trees, there was alot of blosom until recently and alot of small apples have appeared. Thing is there is a lot of the leaves turning brown, nearly like dead. Is this normal, perhaps this is the blosom dying and not the leaves. Oh and last year I had no apples.

Just moved here last year, so dont know the history.

You need to be clearer , is it leaves or böossoms that are dropping , the blossom time was around Easter this year and should be long gone . Have you asked the neighbours if its an apple or crab apple tree ? ( I notice that Bulmers in Clonmel have trees in blossom now ) .
If its all the leaves on one youngish branch , its canker . http://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profiles1200/apple_canker.asp . Maybe you will find info on the RHS site.

Im not sure what kind of apples it is. Alot of leaves all over the tree about one third are going brown but the tree looks to be healthy. Thanks for the advice anyway.
