    Hi,

I mixed some sand/cement to fill a hole in my wall, fairly deep hole (from removing a waste pipe), but when the cement set, there were cracks in it. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Putting too much water in it or something?

    any help much appreciated,
    J

I think it was the heat today I know in warmer countrys they have something to add to the cement to stop it drying too quickly and cracking
You could ask them where you brought the cement if they have it or do the job in the evening or on a cooler day
