I want to put 2 printers and an external hard drive in a central location and share them round a house - preferably wireless...How can this be done? Currently have a DL-524 router

I'd go wired TBH. For the printers you will require a print server. Are they USB? Something like this http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=307214

To share the external drive...a NAS (Netwok Attached Storage) enclosure would be the preferred method for access to a hard drive over a network. Seeing as the hard drive is already inside an enclosure...maybe backup all the data on it, physically take the drive out and install into a NAS enclosure. With a bit of configuration, you now have network storage and it's just a case of mapping drives to it. I got one of these http://tinyurl.com/3yrswn and a 250GB HDD. Works perfect, plus I can access it remotely over FTP.

You could also buy one of these http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=307213 but going by the reviews, it's not great.
