Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Loan of a Vista Home Premium CD?

As an aside to my other thread about the 64 bit vista, after a load of googleing and whatnot, there seems to be some differing reports on whether I can use the cdkey I havew with a 32 bit cd.

So the question is, can anybody lend me a vista Home premium 32-bit cd? worst case it wont accept the cd key ( I assume it does the same as xp and will just say "cd key not valid etc" and not let me go any further plus not affecting the cd key) and I'll have to go ahead with a trade or sale. But if it works, happy days.

    Any help appreciated.

Just in case you are unable to obtain one you can order the Vista 32-bit DVD from Microsoft for a small fee takes about 3-4 days to arrive.

The bit's are all the same on Vista DVD's it's your serial key that defines what version you install so any 32-bit Vista DVD someone can lend you will do.
