    Why do so many German websites selling consumer products not accept foreign
    credit cards? Most sites in the UK and the US accept them. It can be so time consuming to fill out Tele Tranfer forms.

    Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Germany isn't a society that particularily uses credit cards. I think your question might be better answered in Online Buying & Auctions though.
