Socksify perl script

Hi guys, I'm after writing a script to bench mark some ftp servers, the last step thats doing my head in socksifying the script to work with socks5. Anyone have any ideas on this?

CPAN has some modules on SOCKS http://search.cpan.org/search?query=socks&mode=all. Did you try NET::SOCKS?
