The People's Press has a story about wildcat sightings in Newtowncunningham. Experts have differences in opinion here. Some believe it could have been a Puma while others believe it could be a big dog. :D If it is a puma, why did the People's Press print a picture of a black panther on the front page?

There were simular stories last year around the Monaghan area if memory serves...

Could it be a puma, where did it come from zoo, circus or private owner escaped?

Pumas aren't black. Check google images.

Get ready for some interesting sightings!!

My favourite was the big cat who disappeared from Belfast zoo a few years back. It was spotted that night as far afield as Coleraine. A farmer in Enniskillen was on the radio describing a creature 'as big as a fridge' roaming the fields.

The next day it was found dead in the bottom of the moat in its own enclosure:D

    ROFL :D

That Enniskillen farmer probably only saw a cow. I'd wonder if it's ordinary grass that grows in his fields...

Plenty of wild cats in the Ballybofey area, they are always coming in the bathroom window, but my cat seems not too give a damn , she simply looks at them searching for scraps of food. Great cat is my Tiger.;)

    P.
