Mini Riot In Cork Prison

Six prison wardens were injured in a Cork jail this morning during a scuffle which broke out as prisoners were being escorted to their cells, according to media reports. It is understood that a female warden was among those taken to hospital. More to follow.

Seems it was some guy from Limerick that was the cause of the problems. Radio said he didnt want to get off one of the landing he was on so the guards moved in and all hell broke lose.

I heard that the weapon of choice was a perspex jug. This would lead me to suspect that there may be some hype surrounding this 'mini riot'.
