Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So the cabinet is being announced today...The Greens have hopped into bed with Fianna Fail, what hope do we have for a Ministerial post, or at least a Junior.

Will McGuinness get the nod, or with the constituency new-comer Mary White get something?

John Gormley, Trevor Seargant, Eamon Ryan and Ciaran Cuffe all have more Dail experience than her. However Seargant has stepped down as party leader. So what do people think will happen?

My worry would be that Bertie will give White some sort of position which will give him the excuse not to give something to McGuinness on geographical grounds.

I know some posters here have problems with him, but outside of the alternative government getting in and Phil Hogan getting one, McGuinness is our strongest chance of getting a senior ministerial post for the constituency.

I honestly don't think we'll get anything. Mary White a Junior ministry perhaps but I wouldn't bank on it. As for McGuinness, there's a lot worse in FF than him. Dick Roche springs to mind. Mary Hannifan makes my skin crawl. So bloody self-righteous... I would love to see McGuinn get aminsistry, not cos I like him (obviously), just that KK is crying out for Cabinet clout and anyone will do at this stage far as I'm concerned!

My ideal minsiter would have been JP Phelan!
