Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There taking up loads of space and I need to delete them.

They must be definitions but they take up about 12G.

This is an example of one clamav-96e6b74536b8ec96.

I'm SSH'ed into the machine at the moment. Can I just delete all these and update clamAV from the command line?

I don't know what they are but I'd be amazed if virus definitions are 12G, they are downloaded from the internet and are usually quite small. I'm no expert but if I saw a clam file taking up that much space I'd delete it as clam isn't that hard to reinstall anyway.

Yeah I just deleted the damn things. Definiton files for Linux couldn't take up 12G on second thoughts seeing as theres not a hell of alot of virus'.

My machine is back up and running now anyway albeit probably without anti virus at the moment.

when you install it first and update it it's quite a small download and one would presume it has the full compliment of virus definition files so whatever that file is I think it must be superfluous.
