Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone got the new Gears update yet?

    Nothing comes up when I start up my game, but my friend started his up and got the update message, but it won't download and it just exits his game everytime. Anybody else having trouble?

    Sometimes with Live updates, it can take a while for it to travel. I'd try again around now, and every hour after that.

    yup got it...all the achievements are annex and most are to do with the new maps

    Yeah, I actually got it about 2 hours ago. It was really annoying though and i'd say the ranked matches are gonna be messed up for a couple of days because if you dont have this update you can't join in. My console just kept saying loading when I tried to join and when I got the update, it worked fine.

    worked fine for me... maybe try to start the xbox without the disc inserted and make sure you're signed into live before you load the game
