Fancy bag or wrapping paper??

I have bought a fancy designer shirt as a present for someone and it's in the store's fancy carrier bag so my question is should I leave it in the bag when giving the pressie or wrap it separate? Would it look tacky in the bag even thought it is a nice bag! What do people think?

You could just get some nice, plain coloured wrapping paper in hallmarks or easons or somewhere. wrap it and then put it into the bag.
Thats what i would do.
