Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

[Req] Value for Money Wireless Modems

    Hi All,

I’m looking to buy a wireless modem and two laptop connections, so that 2 laptops in the one house can use the internet simultaneously.

My computer accessories are subject to a budget, so I’m looking for good value places to buy them. Can anyone recommend a computer shop, an e-bay trader or a website (or anywhere else) that offer the best value for money. Reasons why you recommend each distributor will also be welcome.

    Thanks In Advance

    adverts.ie?

For new equipment, you can get a "Zonet" card for 25 euro on Komplett.

It sounds like a cheap generic brand, but they are usually fine.
    (amazon page here)

Their slightly strange looking wireless router is also on Komplett here for 39 euro
(no ADSL modem built-in) (but the 2-in-1 antenna looks pretty funky)
