Why not pick an actual Dubliner? Luke Kelly or David Norris (only said slightly tongue in cheek). But we all know it would end up being called after someone like Haughey. Would be worth the bus journey to Shannon to avoid that.

Never knew those Bostonians love him so much...

We could go with Wogan International or even Gogan International.

T.M Healy International Airport (after all my great grand uncle only got a mountain pass named after him and he did more for the country then Parnell! sure the poor guy got a raw deal since Parnell had squares and streets named after him.)

Micheal o Hehir international airport (after the great broadcaster)

Louis Le broquy international airport (now that has a cosmopolitan feel!) or Samule Beckett International Airport (since i'm staying on the theme of the arts). Sure if it's named after someone involved in the arts it's not likly to offend many (hopefully!).

We should name it after a great servant of the state. Brian Lenihan International Airport has a nice ring to it.

Rosemary Scallon née Brown, AKA Dana.

Dana International is the Israeli Eurovision singer referred to in the original by anonoboy. I don't know if he intended it that way.

I can't believe that this has got to 5 pages without somebody mentioning the Roy Keane international airport....

Think of how well the place would be run, everything would have to arrive perfectly on time or else Roy would get mad and get ya...

    :)

Edit: It took till 6 pages...
