Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Help! Broadband will only work with IE!?!

I recently got connected to Eircom broadband, everything seems to be in order speed-wise, and Internet Explorer works just fine. However, for some reason Mozilla Firefox doesn't work, I keep getting an 'unable to connect' message from it, and I also can't get any other programs to connect (such as P2P programs like DC++ and Torrent programs etc).
Can anyone help me? Presumably it's something to do with my internet settings or something, but i've no idea what to configure.

Any help would be much apreciated!

In Firefox try Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Network tab and check Direct connection to the internet.

There's a similar option in XP (assuming it's XP you have), Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Connections, and make sure you don't have any old dial-up connections as default, delete them.
