Imo bar a nice big quiet library with internet, facilities (pitches, gyms, labs, whatever) make **** all difference to how well you do in your leaving cert.

They may improve your education, in that you may develop socially by playing games or whatever.

Also imo education is not just your leaving cert per say, its every aspect of school.
