Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

BarleyCove Beach Hotel

    Anyone been to this hotel recently?

    We used to stay at the caravan park about 20yrs ago as teenagers and drink up in the hotel....just wondering what its like after the renovation?

    Looking for a place for about 2 nights to for just myself & the wife during teh summer for a mid week break away from kids

    i was in barleycove all last week. stayed in the caravan park.
    Well you know the hotel has gorgeous views..i hadnt seen it before the renovations, but we went up there one night to have dinner, i didnt like it tbh. it was all too "modern" for me, i think it took form the whole thing. i would have much rather a nice comfy bar/restaurant.
    Didnt see the rooms so i cant comment on them..

    When we drove out then from barleycove beach towards mizen i spotted a gorgeous farmhouse B&B on the way, it looked lovely from the outside and the view was unreal...i am wracking my brain to try and remember the name of it..but cant for the life of me, which is annoying because i wanted to bring my boyfriend down there for a night..cant find anythign about it online..
