    Looking excellent in their widescreen glory the films are pure entertainment from start to finish, the excellent First Blood is the best of the bunch with Stallone introducing the Vietnam veteran John Rambo into the world. Drifting through a small town he gets abused by the local police force which pushes him over the edge and he commences a one-man war against anyone in his way. The following two films saw Rambo off on secret missions to rescue Americans still trapped in Vietnam and the rescue his kidnapped ex commander.
