Just wondering how many people have gone broke during their travels? and by broke I mean having less than a 3 figure sum in your bank account and a renewed interest in picking up coppers off the street...

Its kind of scary but can give rise to situations you would never have thought you would find yourself in. I'm currently picking lettuce in the middle of nowhere in Australia because of it and I have to say going broke has been an experience,
