Freezing Youtube/slow connection?

Hi all A colleague a work says that when he tries Youtube at home (Magnet 2Mb broadband), it plays for a couple of seconds, then freezes for around 30 secs - 1minute, then plays, freezes etc... It sounds like a slow internet connection leading to slow buffering of the Youtube clips. I would have thought that 2Mb b/band…

I would have thought that 2Mb b/band would have been fast enough? Is there anything else it could be?

(I dont have the exact specs of the computer but it is a 12-18month old laptop)
