Get the ball rolling with My auld rossoneri.

Apparently Berlu is pushing for Shevchenko but Calro and the squad (according to Itlaian Media the four most respected players at the club, Maldini, Seedorf, Ambrosini and Gattauso, are against the Idea of Sheva coming back) want one of either Eto'o or Ronaldinho and according to some spanish super agent both want to leave, both want Milan but Barce will only let one of them leave and are in the middle of trying to decide which one.

Failing either of them Carlo has cited Henry as one of the players Milan are looking at.

Also, Emerson looks set to join Milan for about €4m, good squad player, still has it IMO.

Im not mad about the emerosn signing he was great when he was at roma hasnt done it enough since from what ive seen. He wont start you would be better of bloding a young player when rotating the squad.

Milan have been linked with so many fowards in the last 6 months it will be interesting to see who they get also with Juventus having come up from B and a few senior players wanting out it will be interesting to see how they spend thier alledged €75m budget

Appiah was rumoured to return to Juve. I was always impressed when I saw him play.

Ah ok not the AEK Athens one then, Brazilians need to get numbers in their names like "the Emerson the 3rd" etc:.

Milan trying to Hijack Suazo transfer seems a bit of a letdown compared to previous targets Henry/Eto/Shevchenko he is decent but not in that class

Dont think he'd want to go back after the way he left. He was nearly kicked out of the club when they signed Patrick Veiara (or how ever you spell it)

I can't find an English translation yet, but Inter are being investigated for falsifying accounts to partake in the season 2005/6 and are at risk of demotion and having "their" scudetto stripped.

Inter arent the only ones being investigated, so are Milan.

I'd say the Scudetto from that season would be declared void(what should have happened in the first place), like what happened with Juve's from the season before. Afterall you cant go and take back the winners medals from all the players now. Dont think much will happen coz of this and definately dont think anybody will be demoted. They were wrong to relegate just Juve last year it should have been all or nobody and Juve were made an example of, I dont think that will happen again. It would'nt be Serie A without the Milan clubs and Inter have never been relegated so i cant see it happening that way.

dont agree Juve were found guilty of a lot more than say Milan and hense deserving of a greater punishment

Gazzetta.it reports that Almiron landed in Turin yesterday afternoon and Tiago early this morning.

They took their physicals today at 9:45 AM with Pessotto escorting them. Then they went to the headquarters and signed their contracts.

Roma have signed Juan for €6.3m and €62k a week. Waste of money imo. If Chivu leaves and Juan is the replacement I won't give them the slightest chance of winning the league.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,013 ✭✭✭✭eirebhoy

Chivu is in talks with Barca.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,836 ✭✭✭Vokes

I read he only has a year left on his contract. Could that mean he would be relatively cheap? €10mil maybe ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,013 ✭✭✭✭eirebhoy

He'd be the bargain of the summer at that imo.

I'm staying in Milan at the moment and this is what the papers are on about.

    Juve=Criscito, Milito, Huntelaar, Gilardinio in
    Trezeguet out

Inter= Villa, eto'o or Tevez and Chivu in
    Grosso, Samuel and Adriano out.

Apparently they've offered Samuel, Adriano and 10million for Eto'o

Milan. Eto'o or Sheva or Ronaldhinio in
    Gilardino out

They are apparently very happy with their team and just want another prestige player

    Roma= Grosso in
    Chivu out

All 4 big clubs want Quaglierrella and Nocellino, Roma look like they'll get Quaglierela if Udinese sell him because they can guarantee him a place. Nocellino is being lined up as Zebina's long term replacement at Juve who are favourites

I really hope we keep Grosso, hes a quailty left back and we dont have a replacement. I hope we get Chivu too and definately dont think Eto'o is wirth that much, Adriano has had a bad couple of seasons but he is still quality. I'd prefer to get rid of Ibra, he's a knob and after his comments about Juve being better that Inter I dont want him at the club, I really hate Ibra he is scum.

Sorry, got the name wrong. By Milito I meant Zaragoza's centre back who's name escapes my but Tuttosport (Torino's sporting newspaper) are confident that huntelaar and Gila will be signed with rumours of a swap with milan involving Trezeguet.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,496 ✭✭✭Mr. Presentable

Trezeguet signed an extension this evening

You mean his brother Gabriel. He's the centre half (albeit a shortarse) and Diego is the striker.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,478 ✭✭✭Bubs101

Looks like the Gila deal is off for Juve now that Trezeguet is staying. Apparently Ranieri is going to play 4-3-3 to fit in Iaquinta, del piero and Trez into the same team.
Juve will are also sure to sign one of Pepe and Milito.
Camoranesi may leave the club if Ranieri confirms the move to 4-3-3 as there'd be no wingers.

In other news, fiorentina want either Adriano or Gila if there other options fall through. Gila and Mutu linking up again would be very attractive prospect

I cannot wait for the new season. Juan, is an ok defender. But as it has been said if chivu leaves then, Roma have little to no chance of winning the scudetto.

Does anyone think Parma's Dessena will leave? I think he is great.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,478 ✭✭✭Bubs101

Dessena looks like he'll stay. At the moment noone's interested as Rosina(ldo) kept him out of the team and rightfully so.

    Ronaldinho and Shevchenko to Milan.

And it will happen, and I will smile =D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

None of it will happen if they don't get 4th.

What is their run in like? Is there a realistic chance that they won't?

Florentina are on 56, 4 points ahead of them, with 6 games to go.
Not to mention Sampdoria, who are equal, and the on form team in the league, and Udinese who are 1 point behind.

Just looking at it there, while Milan have three easyish ties, Livorno, Reggina and Napoli, they have to play Juve Inter and Udinese!!

Florentina have to play Inter and Sampdoria, but then only have Torino, Cagalri, Parma and Palermo, all in the bottom 8.

Sampdoria seem to have a bitch of a run in, while Udinese have a similar 3 tough 3 easy thing.

This could really go any way!

If they don't get 4th, Ronaldinho and Shevchenko won't join, and Kaka could well leave.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 18,300 ✭✭✭✭Seaneh

Either way Shevchenko will be back.

    Milan's next six games are

    Juve
    Reggina
    Livorno
    Inter
    Napoli
    Udinese

Not the easiest but ****i it, it's pretty much in our hands, Fiorentina will drop 4-6 points over the next six games, all we have to do I not drop any...

i can see Sheva returning regardless of position, but Kaka may be on his way.

i think its unfortunate for Sheva, before he got injured earlier this season he was showing signs that he had finally adapted and started showing glimpses of the old Shevchenko

Any word on any Roma potential signings?

A world class striker is a must.

apparently they were in talks with Peter Crouch's agent, but crouchy reckons they would be a step down......

i know he isnt world class but this is the only striker rumour ive heard about Roma so far!

Peter fecking Crouch? Hes alright I guess but I would rather Vucinic.

They should try get Augero or Palacio.

Do you mean Sergio Aguerro? I'd say there's not a hope in hell he'd move to Serie A. He's one half of the deadliest strike partnership in Europe at the moment, and it'd take seriously big bucks for him to move.

I dont watch Serie A, but there seems to be a lot of highly-thought of strikers throught the league. The likes of Amauri, Boriello, Pandev and Quagliarella and more attracting lots of praise. Would Roma spring for one of them? Or what about Cassano back to Roma? He didn't leave on good terms, still seems to be absolutely mental, but he's a class act.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

cant see Aguero going there, he is destined for greatness and with no respect towrds Roma i just cant see that transfer happening

Amauri is supposedly on his way to Juve, Quagliarella could be on the move if the rumours concerning Cassano are true

Can't see Aguero moving sideways. He's gona move to one of the big 10 (Top 4 here, Barca, Real, Juve, Inter, Milan, Bayern)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,478 ✭✭✭Bubs101

I highly doubt Cassano would go back to Roma, they despise him and I think Quagliarella will stay put. Pandev plays for Lazio so he's a no no and I'm not sure a big club would risk Boriello so soon after his ban. I'd say it'll be another year before he moves to a big club. Amauri I could see happening and maybe Bianchi if the deal to Lazio isn't permanent. They could also tempt Lucarelli back from the Ukraine

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

    Cassano to Sampdoria not Roma!
