tree spirits

Does anyone know anything about tree spirits? I am not sure if that is what i saw but its the best name i can come up with. I was in donegal recently and i felt like something was watching me, when i looked around i saw what seemed like a sinewy tall lean person the colour of the tree walk in the tree in front of me. It was in a very remote place adjacent to the glenveagh park. later that night in a neighbouring county i saw the same thing again. that was about 4 weeks ago, and i havent seen it since.
Any ideas?

Sounds plausible to me. They do not appear much of the time or to all people, so a remote and unspoilt place is more likely for an appearance. Some people are more sensitive to such things than others, in fact most people cannot see or sense beyond the normal world. It is also the case that these and similar beings are able to conceal themselves and often choose to remain hidden from us.

Next time you are in a similar situation see if the same thing happens, it might take some patience though. You might want to say hello if you can think of anything you want to say.
