I think you go to Tools->Internet Options->Security and then click Custom Level. Scroll down until you get to the section called Scripting (near the bottom).
Under Scripting there is a catagory Active scripting, select the option marked Disable for this catagory. Click the OK button.

Can you put up a screenshot of what happens when you try to post? Try and take as many as possible through each stage of what you do when trying to post.

We need as much information as possible here if we are going to be able to help. It's not a problem that's very common, so whatever you can give us will be helpful.

Ok, can you copy and paste the writing?

To take a screen shot, just press "Prnt Scrn" (usually located at the top of your keyboard). Then go into Paint, or whatever other drawing tool you have and press Ctrl + v, or go to Edit > Paste. Save the screen shots as a jpeg and upload them to this thread.

It sounds to me like you just have a poor connection to the internet. Who's your ISP? If it's Irish Broadband and you're using Ripwave, you're getting what you pay for.

Try this: www.speedtest.net, and post up the results (they give you some code that starts with and then a url and image tag. You can post that up here and it might give us an idea if it's boards-related, or simply a problem at your end.
