Darn, I thought last time I looked at play asia there were question marks under the PAL and other region areas

Just checked Play-Asia and its still not confirmed whteher it is or not. Hopefully it is, think I'll get it from VG+ if it is.

Yea dor83, videogamesplus usually have a typical delivery time of 3 days which is brilliant, will get before the end of the week from them if I can find out about the region protection.

Ordered it and took a chance on Transformers, it looks like a good game. Remember they only tested the US version so the Asian version might not be(but probably is).

Sorry to be off topic but is virtua tennis good for the 360? I had virtua tennis world tour for the PSP and it was pretty good.
Any suggestions where to look for it would be great, the cheaper the better I mean.

Was also looking at Overlord, but would it not get repetitive, I mean is the game just you ordering minions to destroy stuff?

Tried to get Overlord in a seperate order afterwards, but it kept telling me it was a duplicate order and it had been cancelled, must have to wait a while before ordering again

Asian version is not region free afaik. The NTSC-U version is region free and not the NTSC-J

Tman, I'd recommed cancelling your NTSC-J order and either waiting for
play-asia to stock a PAL-Asia/PAL-Euro version or just order the Play-Asia
NTSC-USA/Canada version. If any version is region locked it's likely to be
the NTSC-J one, depends on how much of a gamble you are willing to take

Well, all Xbox360 games including the "Platinum" range, are in and around the €50 - €80 bracket anyway, so I don't see why not. I'm only going on the radio ad at the mo' but I'll be popping in to my local Xtravision to ch-ch-check irrout after work, will let ye know.

Played it a little bit,seems good so far not mad on the main guy ,AI seems a bit easy also but the style is cool kind of a mix of deus ex and legacy of kain..or something.worth a play tru id say.

Played this for a few hours last night. Its great fun, not tried MP yet, will get to that soon. Love the Darkness powers and eating your enemies hearts is mad. Overall enjoying the game so far. The AI is a it stupid as other have pointed out, only playing on medium however, but from reviews I don't think the AI improves much however. Still overall the game is good fun.

Gave it a very brief whirl there and loved the opening (these guys really have a flair for 'interactive', Half Life Style openings - Chronicles of Riddick also had a terrific one). But there was too much going on around the house so couldnt really give it the proper attention. Will give it a good proper trial tonight or tomorrow.

Go up the stairs, there are two rooms up there with valves. One you turn, the other it says you need power, and that's when you discover another darkling, use it to destroy the lights and it'll turn on the power and you can turn the other valve. Then go back downstairs and through the door.

realy enjoying this game tottally emerst in it , doing ok with the aiming but it keeps shaking for no reason nice and gory thought i cant help playing it and wishing there was a game with out great big heart eating demons and just a straight foward mafia story that you could believe

It actually is ANY 2 360, I have used this offer a few times. There is actually no hidden amount terms in there at all. Even 360 games that have gone to the classic range can be used in this.

It is not any 2 games.
In xtra vision the trade in value of your games must come to 50 euro and you will get the Darkness for free.

In gamestop it is 40 Euro and you get it for a tenner.

The xtravision deal is better mind, cause they offer more money for trade ins.

Played for a couple of hours now, and I am loving it. I would go as far as saying it is the most interesting 360 game I have played. It really does succeed at doing something different with the genre. The Chronicles of Riddick influence is very strong (including the little cut scenes during certain moments, such as ladder climbing), but that is a good thing. And the graphics are stunning.

Great game, visuals are stunning. I loved the intro in the car, looked pretty cool with the credits rolling while it was going throught the paces.

Reminds me of half life 2 in some way, expecially with the carklings jumping at you in multiplayer, like those things in half life that jump at you.

Anyway I also heard the patch will be released next week and is supposed to fix the multiplayer problems too, I.E. the lag.
