Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

problem with A record/publiching website

    Not sure if this is the right forum for this one, if not feel free to move it.

    OK here goes. We have an application that we want our clients to be able log into. I've got the default web set it, I have a security cert and so on. If the users go to the IP of our route https://IPaddress/applicationthen it works fine they can log in no problem.

    But if they put in https://site_name/application the page is not found.

    I've spoken to Eircom and had them set up a new A record a few days ago. If I do a Tracert to IP it fails after an Eircom name server. I can't pint the IP either but that may be because of our firewall but when i do try ping the IP is resolved to the correct name.

    I've logged onto DNSStuff.com and did a test on the A record and it's resolving it fine also.

    Anyone any ideas?
