Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Henry to Barcelona

Surely, surely, Barcelona can't accommodate four of the best (the four best?) strikers in the world. This could open a bit of a can of worms in the European transfer market. Ronaldinho to Milan? Kaka to Real? Arsenal will want a striker themselves and with the likes of Adriano, Torres, Huntelaar and even Shevchenko possibly on the move it could be an interesting sumemr.

Or not. I'll miss Henry in the EPL anyway, brought a bit of class to the affair - most of the time.

Very sad to see Henry I must say he is there so long you could never imagine Arsenal without Henry.
Players move on and so do clubs but this is probably the most testing period of time for Arsenal in recent memory, with Dein gone, Henry following and Wenger more than likely finishing at the end of the new season, who knows Fabregas could well follow Wenger out next year.
As regards the up and coming season, Arsenal need to find someone who is going to score the 15-25 goals a season, as Van Persie and Adebayor I dont think will do that.
Anyway good luck to Henry with Barcelona and thanks for service you've given over the years.

The papers have already linked Arsenal with moves for Tevez and Anelka. I'd love to see Anelka back at Arsenal, though I'm sure there's plenty of Gunners who'd be sick at the thought of it.

I believe it to be a step backwards if Arsenal signed Anelka, I can't see it happening but who knows in football.

They would be unstoppable if they have Patrick Vieira in the middle of the park with Cambiasso and then someone like Vidic alongside Puyol...

    Ok i'll stop dreaming...

I saw them last season play against Celta Vigo as I was convinced it was Ronaldinhos last season at the club with all the speculation...I just hope I am wrong...
Chivu > Vidic imo. Apparantly Barca have offered €12 + Silvinho + Giuly for Chivu. I agree with Pepe's opinion of Puyol too. With him out til October I bet they have a big lead in the league by the time he's back.
