Ray foley show Junior cert challenge

Not sure if any of you heard this? The Ray foley show on today FM yesterday did a thing where they were all to get a Junior Cert Geography paper and without doing any study they were to so the paper as if it was actually the exam.
Anyway Ray and Adelle did not bother doing it but JP did

So they sent it off to a teacher who marks the Junior cert and the results came through yesterday.
So without study, and remember him being adult (and radio personality) has done nothing with geography since he was a kid, well he scored 80% which is n A

The teacher did point out that because he is an adult, he answered questions like a 15 year old would not using adult insight etc.

The whole point i believe was Ray wanted to show the Junior cert is very easy i believe.

Oh is it a B? They said on the show it was an A but it was 80% he scored anyway.

I don't think he needed to prove that. All the teachers know as well as the students that the JC is nothing but a waste of time. It does however teach you some things like study procedure and handling with pressure but that's about it...

Well geography is definately one of the easier papers but in general the JC is just really a practice for the leaving, ya know how to organise yourself from day 1 of 5th year and whatnot.
