Nokia 6070 how long first battery charge?

I just bought a nokia 6070 .How long should i leave it charging for ,ie the first time battery charge. When i got motorola phones i used to charge em for 12 hours the first time. The manual says normal charging time is 70minutes. Does an icon come onscreen when the battery is fully charged. Whats the average time for FIRST time charge for nokia mobiles?Will i just leave it charging for ten hours .In order to get full battery life the first time battery charge duration is usually ten to 14 hours ,as far as i know.

leave it on overnight i suppose. the old batteries needed a good initial charge but not anymore really

when its charging the battery symbol moves. when its finished charging it stops moving

It's never made a noticable difference whatever way I charged my battery the first time - repair centres, phone shops, phone manuals - none of them seem to care any more.

Nokias usually say battery full when they're charged - once the indicator stops moving as vimes says, plug the charger out and in again and it'll say battery full.

Jasus.. did I write so much about a battery charging?

I GET a new mobile every 2 years, if i asked in shop the assistant would say First time charge is 12 hours approx,the manual would say 60,to 70 minutes is the time to fully charge the battery.Maybe the technology has changed over the last 3 years, batterys r much smaller,and more effecient.But i am sure the first 3 charges of the battery are critical ,i usually wait til battery low icon appears be4 i charge the mobile.

When I worked in a phone shop I'd tell customers to charge it over night, but it was more of a precaution. The new batteries only seem to need an hour or so.
