There's not much to do here. Even the local origami class has folded.

Well you could watch the world origami championships on SKY.

It's a pay per view event.

    Stop booing the jokes Zapp.

Read the Charter, using the thread rating system.

I did use the thread rating system, but can't I comment aswell?

I think "boo" is an entirely appropriate if not mandatory response to that joke.

And quite acceptable to me, as when somebody groans and heads for the door when told a really corny joke. In fact the one star awarded is my most treasured possession at the moment.

    I don't get out much.

No. Did you read the Charter ?

I don't suppose you read the Charter either.

You will note that I don't pull people up for booing a joke if they follow it up with a comment that makes it clear that they are just taking the mick.
A "boo" posted alone is a negative comment and against the Charter.
    Can you see the distinction?

I have read the charter but I felt it wasn't clear. It does say don't post "that's crap" comments, but it doesn't specify whether you're allowed rate and comment on the joke. And I'd also like to say the comment was in jest and I thought that would be clear.

    Point noted however.

Absolutely. A Smiley would have made Zapp's intention quite clear. His last post does this perfectly though.
