Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

problems with direct X

    Whe I try to run Rome: Total War, I receive this message, 'Rome failed to find DirectX 9, which is required for the game to run. Please reinstall DirectX.'
    This also happens when I try to run other programmes that need directx.

    Regardless of how many times i re-install directx the programmes will still not work, even installing the newer 10 version.

    Does anyone know how to fix it?

    you didn't try to install dx10 on xp did you?
    10 is only for vista....

    unfortunately there is no way back to a previous version of dx afaik...

    although a system restore might do but im not too sure...
