    hey guys!

thinking of buying a Seat Ibiza, probably around a 2003. Been checking a few out on carzone.

But Id like to know what you more knowledgable folk think of them as a car, you know good, bad, will I have to spend a fortune keeping it going repair wise, etc.

    All opinions welcome!

They are not a bad car, largely based on the VW Polo and Skoda Fabia. A guy at work has one with 90k miles on it and all that went wrong with was a faulty trottle body. Also watch out for dodgy electrics and try and get the higher spec Signo model. 1.4 litre is better than the 1.2 litre if you can afford the extra tax and insurance.
