buying used from UK

anyone have any experience of buying from Motorpoint.co.uk or similar UK car supermarkets? looking to buy an MPV (shh - don't even start) and looks like there are substantial savings to be made. 4 - 5k or more. I'm thinking cheap ryanair flight over and back on the ferry. Anyone done this?

Loads of people are doing it. Just make sure to do all your pre-purchase checks & it'll be fine. Flight over ferry back is the norm.
