Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

this is the sort of machine where you can't take out the clothes before it finishes, pretty crappy.

if you do open the door before the cycle finishes , i would advise having a few bath towels on the floor to catch the flood,

    think about it:

Washing machine uses gallons of water

Water means that no fire happens.

The only danger you might have is lighter fluid going all over the clothes.

Ive done that millions of times no harm hever done.

    Well that's not entirely true.

What if he left, say, A LARGE AMOUNT OF POTASSIUM in his pocket???

you might be right, I've tried everything suggested and my washing machine still hasn't exploded..

Back on topic: I've (unintentionally) washed a few lighters, including a zippo, without causing any damage to my clothes.

this thread was always the stupid.

say... i left the key of my house in my jeans pocket before throwing said article of clothing in my washing contraption. Will I have to move house? Or worse still, will I have to move to England like daddy?
