My wife sent back goods (clothes wrong size) to a catalogue company, she kept the postal receipt, the company says they didn't receive the goods so she sent a copy of the receipt and they're saying they never got that either. They are now starting to send letters stating they'll screw over her credit rating. Anybody got any advice, it seems like its her word versus theirs although we have sent another copy of the postal receipt in.

Send them another copy via post. Get proof of postage. Or you could always fax and email a copy also. If fact I'd do all three on the same date just to see if they get one of them.

This crap does happen with mail order companies but its normally a problem at their end and they don't want to admit that its their fault.
