    Hi,

Do you know which bushes need to be replaced?

is the rear of the car jumping around?

The Rear trailing in arm bushes are a very common problem on E36's...

If your mechanically inclined you could do them yourself, although they aren't the easiest...

Dave Mc Cann in Coolmine industrial estate will change them for you, they have all the laser alignment equipment so they can align all the wheels after they change them. I would trust them 100%, and i don't trust too many people with my BMW..

Alan Carroll (BMW specialist) near Christchurch also good. I had to get mine done recently as well on my e36.

didn't realise Dave McCann went as far as replacing bushes...thought it was just a tyre shop?

Needless to say his laser equipment is top notch for alignment

Yea i wouldn't of thought that either.... i was up getting an alignment a few weeks ago and was chatting to dave, i was saying that i replaced the RTAB on my car, he was asking which ones i used ect, and said that they replace them there also...

Was very happy with the alignment, car is spot on afterwards...

what impressed me about them was the first time i got my old E36 aligned the guy checked the RTAB with a pry bar to make sure they were ok before proceeding with the alignment... you don't get that sort of attention to detail in most other places....

E36s break springs- I was hearing about it all the time and theen it happened to mine. I believe they're easy enough to change

I'd recommend Al aswell. I've always used him for anywork that needs doing on my E36. His no is 4531433.

THanks guys for all the info.

It's the bushes up the front. When I go over 75 the car just looses steering control. Not nice on the N7.
