Orange Romania launches 3.6 Mbps service
    Published: Monday 25 June 2007 | 11:41 AM CET

Orange Romania has launched 3G+ services. The service increases download speeds to up to 3.6 Mbps in ten cities, namely Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Brasov, Craiova, Iasi, Oradea, Gelati and Ploiesti. The company aims to extend broadband coverage by the end of the year, bringing faster mobile data transfer via 3G+ to all of its subscribers in capital cities and the principal mountain resorts. 3G+ can be used by prepaid and postpaid customers to connect to the internet on their laptop and desktop computers.

3 Ireland's mobile broadband package is comparable to that, although it's unavailable to prepay it is available as a stand alone product for €19.99/month.

    The details are at http://www.orange.ro/abonamente-date/mobile-internet.html

€9 per month for the top package, which includes 50MB worth of traffic, and 18c per MB thereafter. Not exactly worth getting excited about!

I don't think 3 Ireland's mobile broadband is comparable to €9 per month for 50MB... Solair, maybe we're looking at the wrong page?

On further inspection, they have some other packages listed under the menu on the left of that page I linked.
