Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know that EBS will let you do it provided that they know you in the branch but i dont think that it's likely that they will allow it in a large bank

Just transfer to his account if you have online banking maybe and then he can take it out of his?

Otherwise I can lend you 10,000 until tomorrow, but you will need to pay me back 12,000. You'll also get a free €200 holiday voucher and a packet of lentils and fresh olives.

Legally, the bank can't do this.

What if a written letter with my signature was given?

Who's to say that he hasn't forged your signature? Even if you ring, what proves you're not doing it under duress? I think you're in a wee bit of a pickle.

On my credit union account both of my parents have withdrawal rights (mainly because I find it difficult to get home during office hours on a regular basis) so they can take money out of my account. But as a general rule, I think you might have a bit of a problem.

Don't think you can, my sister works in a credit union, she was talking about that before...

Plus it happened to my aunt, my cousin is over in scotland working, my aunt called in just to check if some money had gone into his a/c or out of it(can't remember) she knew the teller well, but she really had to convince her just to give out the details...

So you may have some difficulty doing that...

if the bank knows him very well maybe my mam does this for me all the time but i think she only gets away with it because she used to work in the branch
