Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My brother has given me his laptop to fix. It needs to be re-formatted in a bad way. I have the winxp cd which came with it. There is no floppy drive to run fdisk or anything like that. How would I go about formatting it?

You can use the Windows XP CD. Pop it in at startup, (you may have to set the CD drive to be the first boot device in the BIOS menu) and you can delete the partitions there and format it. After that you can install Windows.
