    This week at The Hub sees some interesting cross - border relations with Islandhopper and ISHO head honcho Timmy Stewart coming from Belfast for his first Acii Disco experience. We can look forward to some tasty tech house and electro from one of Northern Ireland's best dj's. On warm up duties this week is resident Jonathan Woods.

    Big up to everybody who made it down last week and heard Romo also pop his Acii cherry with a cracking set...

    Dj Timmy Stewart - Biog

    Belfast based Dj Timmy Stewart is also one half of production teams - The New Aluminists, Bubba and T-bone and the Jet Project. He has been spinning now for over 10 years and in that time has held down residencies at David Holmes's Shake Ya Brain and Tora Tora Tora as well as his own club nights Digital Boogie and Tsunami, and is currently resident dj at Islandhopper in Belfast's newest club The Stiff Kitten. He has recorded over 50 tracks for respected dance labels such as Darkroom Dubs, Paperecordings, Siesta Music, Product Deluxe and has performed remix duties for artists including Ilija Rudman, Swayzak and for labels including Electrik Soul, Classic and Sunshine Enterprises. Timmy also runs and records for his own labels Islandhopper and ISHO and is just about to start releasing solo material under his own name.

    His sound is pitched somewhere between house and techno and he relishes the chance to build the night from deeper sounds through to tougher electronic grooves.

    He is also one of the only Irish dj's to have played main room slots in premiere Irish clubs Shine and Lush.

    He regularly plays guest slots in clubs all over Europe including the likes of Otto Zutz in Barcelona, Café d'Anvers in Antwerp, Scuba in Sheffield, Haptic in Glasgow, Robodisco @ The End in London, and in the past has supported artists as diverse as Jazzanova, Ivan Smagghe, Swag and Basement Jaxx live.
