does "by .." rather than "as made famous by.." mean it's an original and not an awful cover?

    Nice to see:

    * Balls to the Wall (as made famous by Accept)
    * Electric Eye (by Judas Priest)
    * No One Like You (as made famous by Scorpions)
    * Wrath Child (as made famous by Iron Maiden)
    * Round and Round (as made famous by Ratt)
    * Holy Diver (as made famous by Dio)
    * 18 and Life (as made famous by Skid Row)

Hopefully the Judas Priest song is the original and not a cover. The cover of You've got another thing comin' was AWFUL.

    Ha, genius song.

And also, that Turning Japanese song makes me want to kill people.

    Turning Japanese ftw!
I've got your picture, I've got your picture
I'd like a million of you all round my cell
I want a doctor to take your picture
So I can look at you from inside as well

    :D

    Boooooo.

    Needs more Journey.

Not jumping up and down for joy after reading that setlist, could turn out okay, but I was hoping for more cheesy 80s classics (no one likes More Than A Feeling, but damnit it works in GH1, more stuff like that).

Dont know 80% of these songs by the names anyway.
I profoundly dislike 80s music so will certainly consider giving this one a miss, due to the lack of cheezy goodness.
Although I Wanna Rock and Turnin Japanese are good choices.

Is this coming out for the 360 in the form of downloadable content or something?

There's gonna be new content next month and I think RedOctane hinted it wouldn't be GH1 songs. So, who knows?

Regardless I'm sure the price for the 360 version will be scandalous.

I'd be surprised if a 360 version wasn't on the way...

A lot of those songs can be found on the V-Rock station in GTA - Vice City Stories if you think you don't know em ;)

Yeah, you'd be surprised how many people think "I Ran" is "the GTA song" and had never heard it before then.

Don't think there's any plans for any GH releases for the 360 until GHIII.

I don't get that pick at all, No Van Halen, no GNR (Welcome to The Jungle could have fit in easy here!), but Oingo freakin' Boingo get in.

Seriously, who heard of these guys other than the lame part they got in the Rodney Dangerfield movie, Back To School?

Its also a matter of could they afford the song or if the owner/s of the rights allowed the song be in the game.

True, i just figured because they had those two artists in GHII that it wouldn't be a problem. Times do change though and so do copyright owners.

    VR!
