Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For that price range you are kinda limited, but i find www.scan.co.uk have a great range of has enclosoures.

I have just bought this one myself:

What price range gives me something better? The setup you recommend is £425 which is Eur630. Seems a lot for 1Gb.

There's a 500Gb Western Digital one in Maplins for €149 or something like that.

    You mean 1TB yeah?

Well it depends, are you looking for huge performance and redundancy, or just a box to stick somewhere to stream media around the house? As if its the latter it would be easier, and a better solution to build a cheap pc from spare parts you have, and get 2 massive hdds.

    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=331865
    This has
    1TB
    USB Print Server
FTP Server (Access from the interweb)
    ITUNES Streaming Server
    RAID1

Attaches to my switch and hey presto. Unless there are any better suggestions than this I think I'm sorted.
