Dreaded trip for Derry to Armenia and if they win then a nice trip to the Ukraine to face Shakhtar!
Linfield have it all to do in their first round match against Swedish opposition in Elfsborg.

In the UEFA Cup, Drogheda United look to have easy opposition in the form of the bankers and plumbers of A.C. Libertas from San Marino while St. Pats have a tough task to overcome Odense of Denmark who knocked out Shelbourne from last seasons Intertoto cup.
Glentoran have tough task against AIK Solna of Sweden and Dungannon Swifts may fancy their chances against FK Sūduva of Lithuania.

Terrible draw for Pats , it'll be very hard against Odense .

Derry's first round draw isn't great and should they go through they have a dreadful draw .

Drogheda's draw is as good as you can get really .

Overall not the EL

As for the Carnegie sides , Linfield might spring an upset but I reckon all 3 will be going out .

I'm afraid not and that won't be a while . However 2 out of our 3 sides were seeded(I don't remember that ever happening before) and Pats were the highest ranked non seed .

Shakhtar are probably the strongest team in the 2nd Q round and won't underestimate Derry.

We 2 wins away from that Derry and Pats need to both win home and AWAY and then its no more 3rd round qualifiers for us.

Derry are a shambles and we are ****ed so not this year, drogs should get tru handy enough.

cant wait for this will hopefully be my first european away trip will find out on tuesday i think if we are home or away first. If the second leg is away i should be able to make it unless the louth county board fcuks it up for me.
