Do you mean the new one where they deploy vdsl in the cities or the same old same old where the delusional comreg believe we have a smoothly working llu scheme ???

No contracts have been issued on the VDSL until they complete the Nextgen National Fibres to the 4 ( or 5) big towns. That should be shortly .

The impetus to compete on performance , noticable in the last quarter of last year , has since dwindled . UPC are a disaster so there is a less pressing need to roll out anything new.

UPC missed their recent launch window for 10mbit cable which was due in Galway in Q2 ...maybe tomorrow then.

If there is no upward pressure from UPC there will be no VDSL
