paint on windscreen

    well not really paint, but you know those markers they use to write on cars when they're sold.... anyone know the best way to take it off? warm water doesn't really work great.

    a stanley blade., use it to scrape it off., it wont scratch the glass or anything, just kinda use it like a wallpaper scraper and it'll come off fine.,

    I would keep the stanley blade in reserve! Try tar remover, WD40, or lighter fuel first.

    You can get special blade&handle gadgets for scrapping paint from windows, have done it before and with a cautious (no hacking!) approach it comes off fine, how about nail varnish remover or acetone? Bet they'd work.
