Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd try bringing it in to a Nokia service centre.

you could try mobile-medics in derry, but they'd probably send it off somewhere else, i'd send it directly to fonefunshop.co.uk and have it unlocked by them.
john at market square might be able to unlock it, but i think he's only using the bb5 software, which doesn't cover n95.

    check pm.

yeah..they do have vodafone uk unlock codes available here though...
would he have to flash the phone, then retry the code again or what?

just out of curiosity, how do they manage to get codes for one network, but not for another?
do they have someone on the inside providing them with the information at a price, or are there some "backdoor" codes in the firmware which can be found by disassembling the code?

This link suggests they can do it.

yeah, that should do the trick alright.
just enter the code afterwards..but what do fonefunshop do exactly? flash the phone?
    they say "reset" but..

    Sorry!
    Misread original post
I meant the N95 cannot be unlocked, even using the new BB5 unlock hardware. However, if the OP has a code for unlocking his phone and the number of tries have been used up, this can be reset and then tried again. Not everybody can do it though. They will explain how, but if you cannot do it, then its tough luck. Same service is available in Irl and you can send the phone and have it done for you. www.thefonedoc.com can reset the tries and unlock it then with the unlock code provided

    @ Average Joe
The codes are available from vendors for the various networks, but like you say, not all networks can be done this way. Its purely down to a vendor who can supply codes for a specific network and is not a "backdoor" in the firmware.
