    Hi all,

I am looking to get started in learning about Investing and trading.

I was wondering if some one can point me in the right direction to start learning?

    Cheers,

How much money are we talking about? 10kish, yes? For how long? Want to risk it all for a quick buck or do you want a fairly certain ten-year investment? (It's okay if you're not sure.)

A lot of people are raving about Mark Shipman's new book The Next Big Investment Boom. I haven't read it myself, but I hear it's very accessible. Also there are some good other reads like A Mathematician Plays the Market and A Random Walk.

    Look into Quinn's funds.
